desperation

the denaturing effect of alcohol 

ethanol in the bloodstream 

compounded by anxiety 

solitude 

the only other drunk at this shelter hits me

best to talk to my cats

no one has ever taken out the litter box

the pizza delivery boy says he won't come in here anymore 

I tipped him every time 

what does magnitude mean

where does the notion of greater come from

since were all variations of hydrogen over a really long time

why is one so small

the smallest whole number 

compared to say 10

one dollar tip seems infinite and infinitesimally grateful to me

i used to be able to have these notions

before alcoholic enchephalitus and poor circulation rendered me 

a crazy cat lady has these thoughts 

all human beings have these thoughts

thoughts that turn into endless feelings

im sure cats have feelings

im sure the urchins feel it in there spines

to an illness you choose to acquire 

to feeling like I never wanted the dick I was born with

to slavery, both chatel and volunteer

to hatred resentment and bigotry

for one

for me  

forever
