If change is like climbing a mountain
Then maybe I should practice what I preach
From afar, I am gazing towards the top
And envision a fantasy, the one I wish
you would describe to me
The triviality of being caught up in
a passion
There’s so much more to life,
isn’t there?
Like the very sensation of imminent loss
Allows us to realise the transience of everything
There’s divinity in that, so why be sad?
Enjoy the flow
I will take the obstacle-ridden path,
by your side
And help us move heavy stones out of our way
If we are to fall down back down to the base,
Don’t keep fixating on the summit
Just remember
It’s kind of hard to miss something you never had
