You My Father

You my father. The one who left me when I was just a kid. You my father. The one who made his choice and chose her, over me. You my father, the man who left everything behind, and in return you got nothing back. I should hate you. I should resent you. But I don’t. I can’t. I feel like I owe you. Like I owe you do much yet you haven’t been in my life. Not for a long time, just a short while. I can’t bring myself to hate you. Believe me. I’ve tried. With all my heart and soul. But I love you. I love you. I love you because you’re the reason why I’m here. Why I can breathe. Why I can walk. Why I can even see. It’s all because of you dad. If you would have never met my mother,I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t feel so happy and sad each time I saw you. I wouldn’t want to get your attention. I wouldn’t want to feel your warmth. Your smile… I love you so much dad… I can’t explain it, but in my heart Its impossible for me to hate you. Because you, the man who left everything behind, are my one and only dad. The one who I loved and will always love. No matter what crime you do or commit. I will never give up that deep down. You’re still the dad who used to buy me lollipops just to see me smile.
