I don't quite feel the way I thought I would

I guess I still don't understand it.

I drowned in what I'd thought was love

But I resurfaced empty handed.

While friends resuscitate me back to life

And told me not to be so saddened,

I didn't have the heart to let

Them know I'd wished they hadn't.

Don't want to help them understand

Or hear them say they're sorry.

Just want to turn this bathtub water red

And watch the walls get blurry.
