Goodness, should this overwhelm me,

So sweet how he tried to help me.

I was finally serenaded,

But I hated it cuz I can't love you,

Not cuz I'm above you,

Just cuz you can't take me where I want to go,

And you can't make me who I want to be.



So sing to me, if you think you want to,

Just sing to me, you don't need any rhyme or reason.

Just sing to me, explain to me, why you think I should want you.

Just be a friend to me, and send to me, your feelings and your thoughts.

So come sit near to me, be dear to me, and sometimes lend an ear to me.

Just sing to me, sing if you love me, sing if you're pissed or just thinking of me.

Sing a song about your moment, hour, day or week.

Sing your heart, so we can own it, sing your kisses on my cheek.

Sing your curses, sing your blessings.

Sing when bathing, sing while dressing.

Sing your tears into my shoulders,

Sing to me when nights get colder.

Sing your laughter quiet or loud,

Lift your voice up to the clouds.

Sing to me, dear. Love me truely.

If you can't sing, then oh well, screw me.
