Sad Watching movies, wishing I weren't me,
Reading about athletes with talents that I'll never see.
Hearing stories of heroes who sacrifice it all,
Imagining what I would do, if I could fly and never fall.
Dreaming dreams of being special, though I never will,
Searched for gifts for all of my life, and yet I'm looking still.
Intelligence, or strength, or skills, absent in my being,
Anything to make me great, to act or teach or sing.
I want to know why I am me,
I wish I didn't have to be,
This person whom nobody loves,
This guy who solemnly lives.

You know I really feel a connection with this poem. I have spent my whole life trying to be special, and wanting to be good enough, but always somehow falling short. I love your poem. It speaks to all the things inside that I never told anyone.

i know this was written kinda well a while ago...but i want you to know, no matter what i will love you forever and always...together or not, you are loved by at least me. dont ever forget that. (im saying this to you as your friend not anything else...just to clear that up i would say this regardless of current circumstances)
