What you Left Behind
Look into your soul and you shall find
that the man you left behind was nothing more than a memoire
now you think back and cant recall his face
not ever giving it a second glance
why is it that now so long away it comes to your mind
what is it that you left behind that night
you struggle threw the tears as your love life crumbles yet again
and realize that you really loved the one who all you recall are his eyes
wishing you knew what it is that’s gone so wrong
the days roll threw into months and years
but every night it’s the same tears
Why do these eyes haunt you so
if only you could know
The same tears roll form his eyes when he glances threw his memory too
his love was strong enough but just not the right time
now the story goes on and on but he is far away
wishing you had him just one more day
the things he said always right and sweet
just unfortunate at the time that you met
and you’ve let go and moved on yet it haunts you and you cant change what is..
If only you knew what it was you left behind
wishing it would pull your heart out of its locking bind
The thing is you’ve lost it all and never looked back at the night
That you left your heart behind . . . .
