Have you ever lived in jail
In a 13x9 cell?
I have, for many years,
In that room I cried a river in tears.
Freedom has a price,
That is too high for some,
Three years for a phone cord splice,
I dreamed of running away
and becoming a bum.
36 months in a 13x9 cell,
in the Salt Lake Metro Jail . . .
