As I weep, worry and wonder
I can’t help but ponder,
About what lies within,
Is it sadness, or is it
Happiness?
I then ask who I am?
The same person who was once so cold
That no one dared to hold.
Hurt by no one,
Just wanted love from someone.
Look deep inside,
Let go of foolish pride,
you then will find,
a fire that burns within.
Don’t fight it,
relight it.
The cold will burn away,
then few will turn away.
