ONE TEAR

He didn't cry, not one tear,

growing older one more year.

It seemed like yesterday,

when his parents went away.

He stood and watched, as it lowered.

Six feet deep,

he didn't cry, not one tear,

any thing said he wouldn't hear.

He heard the music, that didn't play,

as he longed for yesterday,

no one saw not one fear.

He didn't cry, not one tear,

today he stood, as he gazed into the mirror.

"It never happened, I'm alright.

Mom & Dad didn't go that night"

He stands in silence,

He didn't cry, not one tear.

He looked away from his biggest fear,

not letting himself shed a tear,

till that day he shattered his lives mirror.

And he cried and screamed as he shed a tear,

one tear!
