I’m watching the sky wash the tears away,
Washing the pain out of my soul,
The rain cleanses all that cross her path
She removes the blood and tears of the past,
Cleaning the soul and erasing the clues,
The times and the blues
You look to the rain her lightning calls out your crime
Only her and the wind now what it was that time,
You walk away from the rain as she cries
Tears of sorrow about the man you are.
You look away as if its not you,
Watching the rain turn a dark blue,
You look to the sky with your one last glimmer of good in your eye,
Today you become the felon of your soul.
The pain you have caused shall create its own toll,
Look away it’s not your pain to see,
The day is gone what is done is done.
Look away its not that it’s not what it is today. . .
