hiding in my heart,
darkness of confusion,
lurking to the surface.
I feel pain, fear,
sadness, loss,
when word said,
striking the heart,
unsettled remarks,
but trust is there.
How can I,
let it continue,
this doubt inside,
trying to drown me,
nowhere to hide.
I'm honest & true,
scared to lose,
love for you,
each passing day,
I just sit & wait,
hoping to hear you.
I ask proof,
from the heart,
how you love me,
show me I'm wrong,
let me love again,
hopefully this pain,
will be gone.
