White Snow

Folder:
Myself

When I look,

out the window,

a white sheet,

of cold snow,

covers the ground.

In my mind,

all I can think,

is you safely home,

warm and well,

not feeling alone,

this beautiful evening.

My heart wishes,

you wee here,

so we could,

go play outside,

in the white snow.

I’m imagining,

snowballs flying,

sudden shills,

of ice on our skin,

holding each other,

to warm ourselves,

together we will be,

forever a pair.
