The CLAIRVOYANT Monkey
As the sun was rising in the city of Tampico, everyone was getting ready to start their day. The very loud rooster was getting his three little chickens ready for school, the beautiful lioness was preparing the lion some breakfast before he went to work, the confident duck was looking at himself in the mirror, fixing his tie, as he was getting ready for his first job interview, the cocker spaniel dog finished putting her headband and grabbed her iPod to go for a morning run and the cold and bitter snake, isolated from the rest of them, was punishing the baby snake for not waking up on time for school. As everyone walked out of their houses, they were surprised to see a lot of flyers announcing the visit of a powerful monkey, which said: “I assure you that I know everything about you with just the touch of your hand, come see for yourself.” Everyone was talking about that, but no one dared to go visit the monkey because they were afraid of the things he might say. The first brave one was the duck. Everyone was anxious waiting outside of the monkey’s place for to the duck to come out. When he finally did, you could see his face filled with joy, and everyone wanted to know what had happened, but the only thing that he said was: “If you want to know what he is capable of go and find out.” They were all shocked as they listened to the words of the duck, but curious to find out about the abilities of the monkey which they assume were pretty amazing judging by the look of the duck’s face. They all went to see the monkey one by one and they all came out pretty amazed, except for the snake, who refused to go because he thought that everything was just a bunch of lies. Everyone was pressuring the snake to go and see for himself the amazing abilities of the monkey, and since he was sick and tired of the constant pressure, he finally decided to go. As he entered a dark room grabbing his baby snake by the hand, the monkey asked him to take a sit and tell him his name. The duck, with a skeptic look on his face, was listening to everything the monkey was telling him. He was amazed as the monkey touched his hand and started telling him everything about his life, from the money he spent last week on food to the amount of times he was late to work. Meanwhile, the baby snake was wondering around the room and with a single move he turned the lights on. The surprise was the monkey’s assistant, a sheep with all the Facebook recorded information from the duck’s profile. His face was filled with horror and he looked pretty shocked.
