We all,
Waking and moving
In a wide web, so caught up
And wobbling and floating,
From my world I join them
And without all joy
A sad cry I raise.
When at first it came
Their world, and we met..
Growing, ever to lose
Scores of manhood and countless bowels
Going never again returning.
The cassoks and the scroll also came
With melodious tingles of rattles
Laced now, laced again
With commands and orders
untold coercive labyrinth
And the decline of a people grew
And the death knels of a life time sonds
and an ancestry abondoned.
We now rise to learn
And fight to pick
The abandoned and the declined
Then the sage again
And the cassocks and the the scroll
Turn to teach their truth.
We wake in the other wake
Returned to their world
Out to seek in vain.....
Our loss while there
From my world I join them
And without all joy
A sad cry I raise.
