A color never seen.
The Snapshot never taken.
The side never noticed.
Who you truly are.
You want to show everyone,
But scared of what they will see.
Maybe just show one person,
See if they can accept you.
Though they probably would hate you.
Afraid of the whispers.
The eyes watching you,
Knowing your "different" from them.
What would they think?
Would they even care?
A truth no one knows,
To afraid to tell.
Even those you trust,
So few they are,
Afraid of what they will think and say.
Nothing small,
A very big deal.
But to big to handle on your own.
Call for help,
They run to answer.
But when you can't tell the truth,
They turn their backs and walk away.
If only I could say,
What I truly need and want to say.
Maybe someday.
