The only friend you ever knew,

Never met in person,

Yet can brighten the darkest day.



The only person who cares,

The only person who knows…



Does it matter?

The distance that is,

All you know is the words and pictures and voice.



The person you wish you knew in your own world.

One that understands, listens, cares.

One, who doesn’t think your crazy, likes you for who you are.



Do they feel the same?

One hopes, but never knows.



For now fingers do the talking.

And eyes the listening.



For now I hope that it all lies,

all wasn't a dream...
