The Apology
Standing over me
wiping the tears from your face away
you whispered an apology
begged for my forgiveness
while looking to the sky
my hands together with my fingers in twine
you placed your hands on mine
"I'm sorry" you cried
more tears were wiped away
I wanted to forgive you
i wanted to wipe those tears away
but i couldn't talk nor move
several minutes after
you walked away
you looked back at me
a tear slowly rolled down your face
you were gone
out of site
it then became dark and so cold
i could hear voices
the voices that came before you
now it is silent
i was gone!
