I met you at a time when love to me was new and strange

You entered my life and everything as I knew it changed

I felt a warmth that no fire could ever create

Anxiety overcame me in your abscence or even if you were late



It was a unique feeling when we shared our first kiss

Nothing I had ever known felt as wonderful as this

Your touch I welcomed; a continous gift

You allowed me to feel great and harmonious bliss



Time went by and we still were as one

Overcoming our differences and still having fun

A bond so strong that no one dared to break

Because we only knew loyality and nothing felt was fake



My innocence I so willing gave to you

For the love we share was so very true

No regets, blessed for all that we had

But now reality appears and I become sad



You promised that you would always be there

Now you're not and all seem so unfair

It was not right for you to go just like that

You had no right to hurt me and that's a fact



What am I to do without you in my life

You said that I was going to be your wife

How shall I live without your love

Well at least I know you're smiling from the heavens above



And though I feel your departure was wrong

I know you'd want me to smile and be strong

Even if I should love someone once again

It'll never be as with you my love and my best friend.
