Mind, we should not care to worry.
Nor ponder on the surfaces of these lands.
We are not the same, you and I.
You are just a brain, I come to realize.
Our hardships, they are our guilty pleasure.
In their moments, we do suffer
But given pen, they are our leisure…
And so we solider on
Eyes, I fix you on something and nothing
Gateway to my innards opens wide
A world of abyss and unknown depth.
I laugh in these meadows, where some would hide.
Mind, it is becoming so obvious to me.
As clear and as clean as the eastern sea
That life’s trivialities, should not hinder
Nor effect the heart of you and me
