The Book

I knew what I wanted,

From the moment you kissed me,

I wanted you to always miss me,

When I was gone from your side,

I lied, I lied,

When I said I couldn't try.

I knew what I wanted,

I wanted to grow old with you,

And hold hands watching television,

Instead I let my heart imprison

Every intuative move.

I do, I do,

I do really love you.

I knew what I wanted,

When you walked from my side,

I wanted you to break down and cry

And turn back,

And I'd pry

The sadness from your eyes.

Instead,

You put me down like a book

That you had flicked through once.

But I am unfinished ,

You will never know my end

Unless, out of curiosity

You should pick me up again...
