When I was thirsty

You would not give-

You wanted to die,

And I wanted to live.

I opened my arms

and I begged on my knees

Give me the love,

that you once promised me

Give me the truth

Or just set me free

But you would not answer,

You left it to me,

To cry under the stars,

And tear myself apart,

I gave myself to you

But you only broke my heart.
