You have taken too much from me,
I have been the apple
When you have been the tree,
And you have been the moon
When I have been the sea,
Controling, and pulling
Always ruling me.
Every night I go to sleep -
I pray for the strength to let it be
To let these chains unlock from me
To uncover my eyes, and finally see.
The voodoo, the hoodoo you do to me,
You cast a spell when you touched me
Now nothing in my past seem real
And I’m a slave to how I feel...
Slavery
Lovely. I know "the chains that bind us are stronger then ones that want to breaki us apart. " Their is one edit I believe. Plural instead of singular. I love this poem, cause it creates motion. Inside of me.
I have been the apple
