“My brother’s basketball ball”
My younger brother who every morning takes with enthusiasm his basketball ball to play in recess at high school always having a good time with his friends, in the afternoons training with effort with his team and some nights in his spare time bouncing the ball and making free throws with the only goal to be better in what he is passionate. Even if it is a good or bad day, if it is sunny or rainy nothing will stop him to relax, get excited and then take a lot of energy and adrenaline to take the ball and run freely on the court hearing the whistle blow, jump into the ring to win and celebrate each of his victories, or accept his losses, because if he falls down then he will get up and always have the strength to overcome any barriers to continue and give the best of himself because maybe he is neither the best nor the worst basketball player but inside of him there is something more valuable, having the desire to be the best and always get higher, accompanied with his precious big red basketball ball which gives him daily joy and good times. In this sport although the score is tight and he may feel a little nervous and have sweaty hands when he is touching the ball he will never feel despair because he knows that basketball is about agility and intelligence to develop strategies to think fast, steal the ball hit it against the floor, always against the clock the ball moves all around the court, who will be the next to catch it?, who is next in scoring?, he takes it and stop quickly, jump as high as he can, shoot strong, and then waits to see that it bounces off the back board and felt very anxious to know whether or not the big, red ball is entering, and at the end there it is finally it drops in, the crowd is cheering and he has gain three points in favor to the score that deserves celebration while the other team is in shock. Yes, all these years that red round object, not so cheap nor expensive means a lot to my brother and it represents his spirit and feelings of joy, sadness, competitiveness, success, fails, teamwork and even support gave by his family and friends in each of his games.
