Extended burly limbs
envelop the
youthful innocent
a dimple
below his cheekbone
creases with esteeming fondness
Stretched out
to the weak
the helpless and the poor
his amiable palms
gently unfold
they are scarred from
the tools of life
from the toil
of a carpenter
Children peer up
in pure reverence
they venerate his strength
they are in awe
of his benevolence
his teachings are like no other
the multitudes
ensue him
he has called them
and they belong to him
