Rope
I find rope to be pleasant at times,
used in intricate ways.
And also used in intimate ways,
like tying someone up in foreplay.
Use it in the best ways possible,
with good intentions.
But then there are others
who abuse it.
Twisting it into unnatural forms,
forcing it to bend when it shouldn't.
Whether it be good intentions that went south,
or just bad intentions,
and it was never seen that way.
Sometimes we do not know
the whole truth.
And we have to use the rope
in different manner.
If we want the truth,
regardless of outcome,
we might need to give
them some of that rope.
Only time will tell,
if they can free themsevles
of the entanglement,
or if they are hanging from the gallows.
