Savor
Yesterday was amazing,
you know this.
There were things I didn't know,
things I never heard.
While at work,
the day was about you.
It was absolutely worth it.
You opened yourself up
in ways I never would have expected.
I would push so often,
to be met with resistance.
There was still some resistance,
but nowhere like it had been before.
Although, I wish you resisted less,
and gave into what I wanted.
Let your "better judgment" go
and just let consquences come as they may.
I already took a bite,
a long time ago.
And it was a beautiful bite at that,
and I want to savor it still.
