I need to be alone today

Forget our memories

The time we spent together

When I tried so hard to please.



I can’t believe I never saw

That you just had to go

The person that you really were

I guess I didn’t know.



You changed me into someone else

That I never should have been

Give me back who I once was

A normal happy teen.



Forget the things we could have had

Our memories are gone

I thought that I could love you

I know now that I’m wrong.
