When I told you this was done

you tore me down

you broke my heart

pulled me around.



When I saw no one had won

no one but you

you made me cry

what could I do.



When I tried to run away

you held me there

tears in your eyes

said that you cared.



When I let my feelings show

you turned away

I really don't know

what to say.



When I said my last goodbye

to all the stuff

you make me take

i'd had enough.



When I sat there all alone

knew I was free

but you are chained
