when our world is crashing down
and the darkness surrounds me
and hides my thoughts from you.
Will you doubt me from far away
when i'm silently crying
and the bitterness is simpler
then the work involved in learning the the truth.
Will you break me down with cutting words
when tears of blood flow
down my cheeks and I turn to dust
and slowly become nothing.
