Sixteen years of thinking

on that straightly driven line

the thoughts I had, the impulses

never materialized as mine.



And for once I threw that all away

for the hope of something good

and did some things impossible

that I never thought I would.



I figured "To hell with all of this"

all the boundaries I had made

I would do just what I wanted to

wouldn't make up some charade.



So I asked you for your honesty

I thought what you said was true

the concept of you lying

something that I just never knew.



But now I regret that moment

just as I know you do

and you see this as all my fault

in a way I guess that's true.



You think I only used you

but please see that wasn't so

I really truly liked you

that's something I want you to know.
