You say that you've seen heaven

You say that you know love

I haven't seen either

here or up above.

I can't say I envy though

I do not need that pain

the concept of the bitter fall

would just drive me insane.

Knowing that it soon would end

a whisper on the wind

to find the thing I love is gone

though I really did love him.

To understand the very most

that my love was all in vain

that type of love i'll never want

that kind i'll never claim.

I don't desire either

for it's what I do fear of.
