Who won?
Who hurt who?
"SHE HURT ME!!!!"
"EMBARRASSED ME"
"CHEATED!!!"
(MY EGO BLEEDS)
(BECAUSE I AM BLIND TO MYSELF)
"Look at what
SHE DID!!"
I didn't deserve that.

He is confused,
Used,
Manipulated easily by others,
Out of a perceived need to survive.
His life,
Ripped,
Misunderstood.
*
BLIND,
to your gifts,
from a lack within himself.
*
Of
Intuition,
Insight,
And undertanding,
The virtues of the spirit,
That only those with "eyes" that see have knowledge of.
True knowledge is the ability to see truth.
Who hurt who?
Who "won"?
♡♥♡
"When I believe in others' "truths", and listen to idle gossip,
and not my own inner virtue,
When I *ass-u-me* I know another's heart,
Mind,
Soul.
I hurt myself.
♥
Life is short.
The words"broken heart",
Too many times,
Confused with
"Broken ego".
No one can stop anyone from loving anyone,
But their egos play a "trick",
And they think they can.
♡♥♡
SHE SAID, "BUT HE HURT ME"
♡♥♡
yes...he hurt you.
I see that.
Now what are you going to do with it?
Because we cannot all keep living as if everyone will
Always love everyone forever,
Because tomorrow is never guaranteed
In a world where people fight and war, giving the excuse that
It is because they "love".
Be-aware,
Lest words be meaningless without action.

Thank you KD. Her poem had me wanting to share what I once had to admit. Dove says men/ego women/heart. I think it's men ego and heart....women ego and heart the same. We all need to learn to separate them because society and those around us send too many twisted messages. Thanks for reading and commenting and I am so glad you enjoyed it. I hope the writer of the inspiration does too. ♥
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
