...the bridge of a soul from what is,
to what is not, and from what is not,
to what might, can, or should, be.
it is a turn of events in the schism
that shrouds the evolution of
the universe in it's momentum
to be empowered or to wither in
time and space, it is an immeasurable force,
both minescule, and prodigious,
and incapable of comprehending itself
in it's relation to the infinty
that holds it's ongoing
destiny...or not.
it is untold potentiality that
manifests itself through the
guidance of all that is,
and queries that surround
existence...or not,
are the pivotal levers that
hold the breath of the universe
in the interims, gently teetering
upon the fulcrums that
balance the stars and planets.
every new question, thought, awareness,
of every human, anywhere upon the earth,
and every spark of emotion or emergence of enlightenment
contributes to expansion or contraction of all that is...
...and all that is not.
and so to ask the question
of 'to be, or not to be?'
is really just a waste of time
as we know it...
...an oxymoron, maybe,
and yet, all questions
refer back to it.

Thanks to everyone who took
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this. It is actually a conglomeration of different awakenings I've had that began over 10 years ago. I am so touched that it has been able to resonate with others as well. I didn't realize when writing it that it was so multi faceted. Then again, I guess humans are.
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Wow, this is an exhale of erudite cognizance one rarely sees here at Postpoems. It definitely has my neurons transmitting impulses all around my cranium. This piece is complex – and not, to those who look deep into its attentive significance. I became absorbed into the words in a rather reflective way. One can taste a bit of psychology, spirituality, physics, paleontology; although much more vast or universe specific than adaptation and natural selection. It reads noticeably cosmos focused. There is also a smidgen of Shakespeare, and a pleasurable splash of collective consciousness. Unquestionably a keeper - eat your heart out Stephen Hawking.

In 1996 I had one of those life experiences that spurred a monumental change in my life as well as core belief system. The journey continues...

I'm so glad you picked up on the calm. It truly is, when I just take the time to connect... (sometimes my belly button gets short-fused.. )
