Let me fade from the light

And off into the dark

I once shined so bright

I once had a spark

Surrounded by silence

Like an emotional chain

I put up my walls

In solitude i remain

I can't break this curse

Speaking in my shadow

Never really converse

Left feeling shallow

What could be worse

Give up on me

And i will go away

Don't you agree

I guess things are best this way
