If you look steady you will see my face
Searching for the pattern that will ease my pain
Wandering alone in the crowd losing my pace
Living on the edge, waiting for the rain
Oblivion trying to overtake my soul
The halls around me collapsing with fury
The truth of my mistakes beginning to take its toll
Vision so completely blurry
Refusing to simply give in and give up the fight
Pushing painfully forward reaching out for love
Blinded by the intense sacrificing light
The gentle beating wings of the dove
