Will you Ever

Folder:
My Passions

Will you ever need my voice to say your name?
Traveling thru the emptiness of being alone
Losing the desperation, becoming slowly the same
Tempting the poison to spread along the shores of love
A scar running the length of my soul, jaded
Drowning in my own self-loathing and fear
The need for companionship completely misunderstood
Will you ever need to see my face smiling at you?
A tear, direct results of fear, joy, and being sad
Pain and heartache provide healing
Holding on to you waiting, hoping
Red dawn breaking, giving you warning
Heart breaking into a million pieces, grey
A curious drive to have a word spoken in silence
Will you ever long for my touch?
Needing the cover of a another’s soul
Eternal blackness surrounds the sliver of light
No intelligent reasoning thrives in the chaos
Lies and destruction consume even the most innocent
Truth being the frailty of one’s simple mistakes
Longing to simply feel the breath of another in unison
