When you’re looking back
It’s what is behind you,
What you did
Not what youre going to do.
What happened in the past
From the first to the last.
Like looking in my rearview mirror,
I can see it all
Now I try to hear.
Reaching back in my memory
I see several faces,
Will they remember me
And truly find their places.
Looking back I see achievements,
Good times and disagreements.
I see many different people,
Those of fake and of real,
Year after year passing through the mirror.
So many memories
Bring a free falling tear.
Now the mirror falls off
While I continue to drive,
Not yet dead,
For the moment alive.
