Today's present came

when I opened my eyes

took a look outside,

seen the sun in the sky.

Another day to live

knowing I could die,

what will today give?

how hard should I try?

Will I see today's sunset

and the stars shine tonight.

If today brings a big decision

will my choice be right?

Today was my best day

becuase I'm still alive.

What would happen the next day

if today I had died.

I'll tell you what would happen.

I'd get no gift tomorrow,

bit if you still get yours

don't be left in sorrow.

Today's present came

tomorrow may not be the same.
