maybe she'll be leaving...with new ways to say goodbye.

maybe she'll be leaving...with few words to tell me why.

love, at times, deceiving,

there's far more than what i know.

love, at times, misleading.

in love's shadows, where we grow.



quite yet to seem a stranger, but you know, four days ago.

quite yet a heart in danger, but you know, a broken soul.

maybe she'll be leaving...yet for certain that she'll go.

maybe just misleading...it's quite difficult to know.



tis a path of tossed tomorrows...to a poet stoned on love.

there's another path to follow...'neath the starlight up above.

all answers kept in waiting...'til i see her once again.
