A Gorgeous Catastrophe

You are my most favourite addiction

I want to drink you up and feel a high

Without consequence and no restriction

Till’ sickly colours paint a spinning sky.

My fingers caress the psychotic fire

When engulfed in your love, pain sets me free.

The burning wax satisfies my desire

Stripping flesh to bone at a high degree.

You, my addiction, make my stomach churn

Ungodly beauty strikes a tearing feel.

Butterflies vomit a disgusting burn

And blood-stained cloth has never looked so real.

You manifest my every thought and dream

This wanting for you is a constant theme.
