Damn you.
I wrote this poem to hurt you
You know.
Afterall
you deserve it
Don’t you?
Lying to me
And about me…
I should have you killed.
But I won’t.
Dying would only pleasure you.
So instead
I wrote a poem
For you
About you.
I was going to put it in that
Place
Where I knew you would look.
Trying to find keys to my life
And evidence of your hold on me.
I would leave it there to hurt you
And its publicity would shame you.
Everyone would be laughing
At you…
Not with you.
I don’t need lies to break your heart
That is your game.
My words are honest
So honest
Shattering your world
would be easy.
But maybe that is all
I need to know
That my power
is greater
than yours
And the fact
that I don’t crush you
Shows that I am
the wiser of us.
