Cacoethes

Folder:
In the beginning

I breathe, in ecstasy of you

Agnised of my drawn soul;

Too oft imbibed, indulged

And withal rendered whole

O, speak! to chaliced pinna

That shiver in the timbre

Of your susurrant whispers;

All Heaven may concur,

In an instant. Nigh ambrosian!

When unfeigned eyes arise

And drink in arrant truths,

That weave love's ageless ties.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Bleeaargh.  I apologize for this drivel.  To prove how difficult writing a decent love poem is, writing one was assigned in my high school creative writing course.
