A Black Pebble in the cold sand
One you hold tight in the palm of your hand
The one that reminds you of home
And is soft as cold or hard like stone
The soft soaks up the tears and the stone fights your fears
The dark and Light
Shadow in the night
Loud and low
Watching the fast acting slow
I see it all from my home in the sand
Some step on or burry me
But the ones i love dig for and carry me
A constant struggle of all time
I have debated with men and fought with swine
Im happy at where i am so far
I have lived and learned from every scar
The stone in the sand, I am and shall remain
A gift to those who remember my name
