I don't always get the girl,

I don't always hate the world,

But I'll always be where I belong.



Sometimes I don?t have the best of friends,

Sometimes I have wounds that just won?t mend,

But I'll always be where I belong.



I might not be the most handsome guy,

We all still know I won't tell a lie,

And I'll always be where I belong.



Even though I've been badly hurt,

I'll always know it can still feel worse,

I'll always be where I belong.



Don't forget the truth can be wrong,

You can't change a heart with a sappy love song,

Good thing I know where I belong.



Never give up trying to find a road home,

Try and believe you can't hit that final, deadly low,

And always know I'll be right where I belong...Alone.
