I thought you'd be the one not to break my heart,

Here it goes again, It's about to start,

All the hope I had just got blown away,

It looks like this will be just one of those days,



Why can't I have some good with the bad?

Just something, anything, I can't help but be sad,

When everything I have crumbles to dust,

Everything crumbles, I have no one to trust.

You forgot to say that you'll be here for me,

I forgot to tell you my love ran this deep...

I know you have feelings, but they are not for me,

And so it begins, my heart slowly stops beating,

By the time it stops, you've already gone and slipped away,

By the time I wake up, the circle starts its painful game.



I hate the feeling that burns inside my chest,

It keeps eating away at me, what happens when nothings left?

My heart won't stop screaming to love you more and more,

But my mind knows its pointless, It'll only make me sore.
