Alone
I walk alone,
Down the street away from you,
Away from everything I've ever known.
An empty shell with only a name,
I searched my heart for the pain,
and found nothing,
Nothing living for the pain to affect,
No feelings to aggitate,
Because nothing resides in my heart.
A black hole of emotion,
I'm empty, I only own a name.
This street seem so lonely,
It's much like my rotting heart.
Blackened concrete, uprooted and shattered,
Where once love prevailed,
It is neglected and broken.
I walk alone,
down the street away fromy you,
away from the feelings,
away from everything I ever had,
away from everything I've ever known.
