This rose was given to you,
A praise of heartfelt thanks.
This rose is for those I love,
My friends, my family, those I charish.
Its a symbol of hope,
that our bond will last.
Each petal, and rift,
a moment spent with you.
To symbolize the love I felt for all of you.
I stand here now,
this is my final speech,
the one we will remember forever,
the one that i hope, to your hearts, will reach.
A petal falls and withers on the rocks,
just so the days of old they seem to fade into air.
Our hearts remain steadfast,
the rose undying,
and memories always in our hearts.
This rose, resembles the love,
my friendsships and bonds,
with family and many others as well.
I thank you for your love,
and I bid you all fare well.
