I needed you,
but i couldn't have you.
I loved you,
But i had to let it go.
It pained me,
but i knew it was right.
I saw the truth,
and gave up a terrible fight.
My heart said yes,
but i knew it was a no.
I couldn't stand it,
Death beckoned me.
But i rejected that too.
It was hard to do,
