like a hammer on metal
Drops hit the ground.
"It's nothing new"
you say with pain.
"It's always like this"
your tears becoming like rain.
Love is all you had.
Now there is nothing,
Losing it is hard
Accepting it, worse.

Its happened to others
A hole was pierced
One through you heart
Now you're empty
with only tears
To fill this hole
They keep you warm
from past memories
They stab you

because of that love.
